By: Seth LegaspiThe Most Important Lessons in life are condensed in Sensha-dō (-Mika) |
Sensha-dō (Panzerfahren) appears on the Playstation scene in this glorious game filled with drifting tanks, explosions, and cute anime girls inside the tanks.
For players used to seeing a lot of fanservice in Japanese games, you'll find this game to be quite refreshing. The fanservice in Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match is in the form of tanks and explosions. There's this joy in taking out an enemy tank for some reason. Mixed with the sound and the visuals; it's just glorious.
In other words, playing this game is like watching the Girls und Panzer anime; but you get to control the tank and make stuff explode!
Just look at that, mixed with the sound... You get that tingly feeling. |
Just looking at the carnage caused gives that sense of accomplishment |
In addition, the game also features an online mode, that can go to a maximum of 10 players (5v5).
I have since changed my username in this game to potato... Cause everyone else's names are usually foodstuffs |
To sum it all up, this game is amazing in the sense that, as I stated, it's like you're watching the anime series but you're controlling the tank! Mix it in with the character voices, explosions, and graphics then you get something that you'd want to play every now and then.
If you like Girls und Panzer, explosions, anime, tanks, explosions, classical march music, and the sound of steel tracks going through mud, water, stone and everything else; then this game is for you.
My Rating:
(9/10)
Good Stuffs:
- Explosions
- Music
- Voice Acting
- Domination Battle's story setting
- Tanks
- The online mode
- AI too weak
- Ordering AI via map system is very vague (They dun really follow me, they just go to where I point them at on the map)
Having Kuromorimine as your team against AI is sorta like being a bully |
