Due to the length and number of episodes of each anime series, I originally decided to post my thoughts about them once the series, or its season ends. However.
Yes, however! This remake by
Ufotable (wiki:
link here ) literally gave me a 'fan-gasm.' Yes it was too amazing that I did not mind re-watching these two episodes and taking screen caps from start to finish. Even though the version by
Studio Deen (wiki :
link here ) was decent, this one by Ufotable gave me a reaction akin to Shock and Awe, it simply gave me no reason to criticize it negatively with the justice that it did in the action scenes and story-line.

To begin with I first have to comment on how faithful this version is to the Visual Novel. It seriously begins with the prologue that is basically in the perspective of Rin.
Due to this, we can see some fan-service since Emiya-kun 'is not' in the vicinity.

Of course, it's not complete without Servant Archer's show of skill.

We are also given a glimpse of Rin's everyday high school life through her friends, the Track Girl Trio! with their leader, Makidera Kaede, Kane Himuro, and Yukika Saegusa!

This remake also shows scenes that can be easily skipped in the VN. These scenes though, sort of add to the atmosphere of the story. Look at Rin here looking at such interesting developments! I bet she didn't notice these before!
Next we move on to the action!!!

These action scenes... I would have cried if it were not for my dignity, sitting to my little brother and all... The screen-cap above does not do it any justice!!! I say watch it and see for yourselves!!! It's just too epic that not even a screen-cap can capture its entire essence.

By the Heaven's Feel, just look at those graphics. Now imagine that kind of level of graphics per fight. They truly fit the theme of these Heroic Spirits.

This remake is literally a remake, not a retelling. Ufotable seems to have went all out here, since they added things that were omitted, as well as their own personal flavor into the mix.
What are you waiting for?!? I seriously recommend everyone to have a go at this series. It's just so amazing. I mean, just look at how cute Shirou is!
Rejoice reader, for the Grail Wars has begun anew, with more titillating fight scenes, as well as charming character art!
