Last week, I made a visit to the Best of Anime (BoA) event in SM Mall of Asia. I wasn't able to go last year due to academic stuff, but I decided to make up for it, by coming this year. This year was kinda different, first there's the earlier schedule that has it done a week before (9 and 10), thus sort of freeing it from the "curse" of a stormy weekend, though it was actually very sunny on its original dates of 16 and 17.
The event location is smaller now due to the other special events the BoA was handling, like the SPYAIR concert. Despite this however, there was still a good number of visitors, but it was not as crowded as it was like back then. Though I can probably attribute that to the AsiaPOP Comicon Manila that happened the month before, which I'll probably go to next year along with Comic Con Asia, where I heard that the Philippines' ambassador will be the famous boxer/senator Manny Pacquiao.
Going back to BoA, we have the Japanese Idol group STARMARIE, making an appearance for their fans. The line to their booth was entertaining in its own way, with some fans holding some cardboard signs showing where the end of the line is and all that.
As for the booths, there were very interesting ones, such as this garapon booth that gave out copies of artworks from Pikatto Anime as their prizes.
The events on stage were also entertaining in their own way, and you can really feel that the MCs were also having fun, being in cosplay and all.
There were also the guests, that sang some songs that got the crowd roaring, as their singing began.
Of course, there's also the very amazing cosplay that I was able to observe and take pictures of.
