Best of Anime 2019 (August 31)

This year's Best of Anime felt a bit more spacious than the previous ones (note: could also just be the layout). This might be due to some random consequence or some 'unforeseen circumstances'

The organizers handled the fallout in an acceptable manner as well, as stated in the post, people were refunded, and the ticket winners were given an alternative. However, this was disappointing and lead to some questions, which at this point I'll stop since this will become a rant post, besides...

Despite the non-crowdiness of the place, the line was still pretty long... This picture was at around 2:00pm. It was just the line (yes I lined up and bought a ticket at this point in time):

There were lots of stuff happening at the line though. There was even a cool Goblin Slayer cosplayer with their own Goblin to slay!

The events were also interesting in their own right. There was a 'how to' session on how to do make-up, and some music from idol groups, like the Best of Anime favorite: STARMARIE. 

Their music was energizing! Yup, they're even on Spotify.

As I walked around, there were also fun stuff happening, like (r̶a̶n̶d̶o̶m̶) important whiteboard polls.

I even met some friends at the Kudos Kookie booth! They have really good cosplay photo catalogues, so check them out everyone. 😊

All things considered, I enjoyed myself a lot. Heck, I got two figures (Francis Drake from FGO, and Jeanne Alter figma), a cosplay photo set, and cat ears. Yup, y'all read that right, I got another pair of cat ears.

The layout of the stalls was good, but it was kinda difficult to get to the stalls with the fronts facing the stage, and randomly view their wares until I could make a decision on what to buy. There were also a lot of cosplayers, and meet and greet events, despite the cancellations from some guest cosplayers.

For the food, I didn't really partake of them, since I ate at the restaurants outside the SMX convention center.
